Diravianagar comprises Damien Leprosy Control Centre, its sister institutions like Madona Girls Town (Home for abanded Children), and Retreat cum animation centre. This small village, in short, is a complex of institutions involved in a variety of programmes and activities extended to various rural areas covering 288 villages in four development blocks: Nilakottai and Batlagundu in Dindigul District, Usilampatty and Chellampatty in Madurai District. And for Eye Care project five districts: Dindigul, Madurai, Sivagangai, Ramnad and Theni.
